996500 From my point of view, Tom was thinking more in the importance of the paper that he had to get from the ledge, not in his life at that moment. What I would have done in that case is to ask some friends for better ideas. Another plan is he could go to the close neighbors where the paper is and ask for help.
I would have called the fire fighters, and asking for some help. I know that document was too important to him, but he didn't think before acting. Now he is crying as a little girl, but nobody is gonna help him because he is alone just with a terrible darkness. 993923
Tom would have used something practical to get the yellow paper. Maybe he would have used the longest rod to do easier the things, but he didnt think before the act. He would have tried with something or different way like knock the neighbor's door and try to get the Yellow paper from there. 992151
